HO Rio Grande, etc., 10-piece Freight Train set, Vintage Models c.1962 The cars have some scuffing and wear and need several new couplers and/or various repairs. This set includes: – 1 Gear driven HO engine with Rio Grande shell. Missing a coupler. Originally the headlamp worked, 7″L- 1 Old Dutch Cleaner Refrigerated Car, which is really older, and is also missing a coupler, some scuffing, 8945, 6″L- 1 Soo Line Refrigerated Car. Has unusual couplers and may need to have them replaced. Car is older like previous, CRTX 5560, 6″L- 1 “Katy” Livestock Car. In good condition. MKT 47150, 5.75″L- 1 Shell Tanker Car in good condition. SCCX 2005, 6″L- 1 Southern Pacific Gondola Car. In good shape. 160723, 6″L- 1 Atlantic Coast Line Log Car. In good condition. 4150, 7.5″L- 1 Seaboard Coast Boat Carrier. Car is in good shape, the boat is just a hull. SAL 42806, 5.75″L- 1 Seaboard Coast Radioactive Waste Car. The waste “bell” used to blink red, not sure if it still works. Car is in good shape but missing both couplers. 0805, 5.5″L- 1 Rio Grand Caboose in good condition, missing one coupler. 01439, 5″L Included free of charge: – 1 Rio Grande Engine Shell (with painted on writing by a child), There is no chassis, 7″L- 1 Support Engine Shell. There is no chassis. 6.5″L NOTE: These train sets ran at Christmas for a few years, and then would be put away and never used again when I would get new train sets for subsequent Christmases as a child. Depending on the set, the last time they were run, either Kennedy or Johnson was President – LOL! So, I have no idea if everything works on the engines, some things don’t work, or nothing at all works. I would say because they have sat in a box for over sixty years, I would assume nothing works on the engines and they all need repair (even if it everything does work and nothing at all needs repair), and I can not guarantee anything or any piece or car will work or function properly, or that any engine or car is in complete condition.
