Measures approx. 8 1/2 inches long. Wind- up works. Have NOT tested the light- there is NO light bulb. See pictures for condition. Comes from a smoke free home.
The wind-up works. The headlight is not wired. One roof was repainted(color not matching).
UPDATE – I TESTED THE MOTOR WITH AN ALLEN WRENCH AND IT WINDS WELL AND THE LEVER ON TOP WORKS TO STOP THE WHEELS TO WIND. Nice little set that has the typical mismatched gray paint. I do not have a key to test the engine but the motor does not look sprung.
4-piece tin litho streamliner was made 1940’s. is cream and green with orange lettering and details. Includes power car with clock-work motor, LA, Denver coaches and Squaw Bonnet tail car. One car varies a little in color/shade.
The loco has a brake and sparker, flint missing as usual otherwise complete, tinplate trim, wheels and polished side-rods. Original finish on the loco is about the best I have seen, shows only light handling, few minor surface scuffs/scratches.
