The engine has been tested on a Digitrax DCC System and comes with instructions and the original box. The engine in my opinion is in Excellent to Like New condition. Their are a couple of parts that need to be attached. The engine in the photos is the actual engine that is for sale. Please examine the photos to determine if there are any missing pieces before making a purchase. I do my best to list any defects in the item description. The locomotive is from my father’s personal collection. He has decided to part with a couple of his top locomotives. As a lifetime model railroader, he has acquired an incredible collection of engines, cars, buildings, figurines and supplies. He has very meticulously built cars and kits paying specific attention to details. He is in the process of thinning out his massive collection. Any flaws to the item will be listed above. This listing is for a IHC Premier 3826 New York Central SD-24 Diesel Locomotive with cab number 5749. It is new old stock in excellent condition. I have tested the diesel and it runs very well in forward and reverse and has a lighted headlamp. I WILL GLADLY COMBINE SHIPPING Shipping anywhere in the US is $12.50.
