On the cab sides you’ll find legible Alco builder’s plates. RailKing New Haven RS-1 Diesel Engine w/ProtoSound 3.0. Alco’s designers added a second, shorter hood to a basic switcher to make room for a steam boiler for passenger train heat.

Here is a great addition for ypur collection and one you do not want to pass up! This is considered used, but well taken care of. To be honest, I do not know if it went down any tracks! The original box does show some wear and may have a few stains on it. The locomotive is in great shape! Some of the railings has popped out of their small little holes and did find one piece of railing that is broke as you can see in the picture. I am sure thia can be repaired. Any questions or additional images needed, please let me know! Be sure to save me as a seller as I have many many more HO gauge trains that I will be posting in the future.
