HORNBY OO GAUGE for 2 Rail Operation. UN BOXED EXCELLENT With Tender Drive. This locomotive has not has much use and is supplied with a set of modified Hornby and Triang Hornby Pullman coaches. All coaches have seated passengers fitted, have all been re named part refinished, new buffers fitted and have extra chassis detail. One Coach coupling has come loose. All are fitted with Hornby Dublo open type couplings. These came from the London Model Railway Museum which closed in the early 1980’s. A great item for your collection. See pictures for details. Check out our store for more trains and other vintage collectibles. This engine is a tender drive where the motor is in the tender and pushes locomotive. It runs great in both directions and is in beautiful condition. Now when I first tested it, it did need a push under low power to get moving but the more it ran the better it got. It says it has a smoke unit and I did see a puff of smoke when I first tested it but didn’t get it on video. Box has wear from storage.
