Engine is in similar condition as the ATSF 2-8-8-2 that I just sold recently. Other than quick tests after periodical lubrication, was always out of box in display case. Check close-up pics of the pristine finish on the wheel treads, the rubber traction tire is also intact (missing or brittle on many engines sold here).
