Purchased NEW from Markscheffel & Lennartz in 1982 from Hamburg Germany by family member. See attached receipt. Locomotive was test run when first purchased and it ran perfectly. It was promptly repackaged until just now for pictures you see here. The packaging had deteriorated over the years and is not included. This piece is GEM MINT in every way. Locomotive and Tender has working directional lighting. Not sure how many of these were manufactured; but we have never seen another one like it. Includes the original box.
