EMD GP40 – BOSTON & MAINE #340 (GUILFORD) DCC EQUIPPED – HO SCALE. The GP40 was considered the top of EMD’S four-axle line when first introduced in the late 1960s. The locomotive was popular for its ease of maintenance and standardized features and remained in production until succeeded by the GP40-2 in the early 1970s.
This Guilford is a solid runner and ideal for any HO layout set in northern New England. It features a dual brass flywheel motor , scale couplers and an accurate paint scheme. It’s in good shape, but by no means perfect. The rear handrails and the roof horn are missing . Thanks for looking. Payment is due at time of purchase. No box.
