This pre-built model is ready to go, making it suitable for model railroad enthusiasts. Lights do not seem to work, or at least I didn’t notice them on during testing. Locomotive runs good in both directions however it does have some sparks coming from the wheels. I’m sure a little bit of cleaning can fix that.

You are purchasing a new ScaleTrains SXT33366 HO GP30 DCC & Sound Rio Grande D&RGW #3015. The GP39E/M/V rebuilds of BN successor BNSF Railway are the sole Class 1 GP30s (if at least the carbodies) still in service, the CSX RDMT slugs having been retired within the past few years.

Used in good condition Bachmann EMD GP30 w/DCC — Baltimore & Ohio #6918. The box is not the correct box so do not go off of the description or part number on the box. Please see pictures for details and ask any questions you may have. The pictures make it look like it is black but it is the dark blue color.
