Looks like the plug in wire leads were clipped off, one might be off it’s mount.

This model was previously a NIB conventional locomotive with a simple reversing unit that intermittently worked. It was upgraded professionally by Stockyard Express in Oberlin, Ohio with a Proto-Sound 3.0 board that now allows for command control, sound, crew dialog, and fan driven smoke.
