This pair of Proto 2000 E7 locomotives are a great addition to any HO scale collection! The E7A runs well and is very smooth; the E7B is unpowered but rolls along very nicely. Both models have minor cosmetic damage (see image), but hardly detracts from their quality. Both also come in their original boxes, which also have received some damage from being moved around. Dummy unit has been prept for separate applied hand grabs and KD installation. Powered unit preforms good at slow speed, but is noisy. Heavy units for good pulling power. Original boxes.
This engine is brand new and comes with its original box and packaging. The packaging is sealed. This is a non-powered “dummy” unit. It has no motor and the wheels roll freely. Please look at all photos. What you see is what you get. Thanks for looking
Both units were tested and run well with DCC and sound. A unit has working headlight.
Have a E7 AB set from an estate. Both are dummy engines. Both shells are in good shape handrails will need some attention Also some covers for wheel axles are missing from some axles.. A unit comes with extra parts. B unit is in good shape needs handrail work and has a missing piece on carbody or a hole was cut into side. Good project for parts or restore.
Here is an HO Scale non-powered New York Central E7B diesel. It features plastic trucks, metal wheels and axles, horn hook couplers, working diaphragms, see-through steps, and realistic side grilles. Used Proto locomotive in good condition. Runs good in both directions. Has working headlight. Sounds are good and loud. Has knuckle couplers front coupler is not installed but in the box. Comes with the wrong box but the foam inside is correct for this locomotive. Comes with paperwork.
Need headlight wire put back. A little sluggish, has been on used inventory shelf at a hobby shop for years, and needs oiled. Thanks for looking.
