1941 Pre-war era. The internal Chugger Chuffer PARTS are the valuable parts. See pictures with the tender shell removed to see the “Chugger Unit” inside the tender. I have no way to test the chugger, so sold as-is, as-pictured for parts, repair or restoration only!
O Scale Lionel 6-8-6 671 S2 Turbine Steam Locomotive Engine. Lionel O Scale Train Locomotive. NOTE: Tested and it RUNS Forward strong! I’m not sure how to get the e-unit to cycle correctly, as the jack pin needs to be used to do this, so I only got it to run forward in my brief testing.
THE SURFACE FINISH ON THE LOCOMOTIVE IS NEARLY FLAWLESS WITH NO VISIBLE DEEP SCRATCHES, RUST OR RUST STAINS. LOCOMOTIVE IS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION. i DISCONNECTED THE WHEEL DRIVE ROD ASSEMBLY FROM THE DRIVE WHEELS AND THE LOCOMOTIVE WAS PERFECT.
