*This beautiful diesel locomotive from ALCO Models is borderline NIB but we’re offering her as USED due to some very light wheel wear. Made by Kumata of Japan in 1979. This locomotive has already been beautifully custom painted & numbered to match UP #3288. A lot of time & effort went into this as it looks incredible! Tested on 12/6/24 and found her to run smooth in both directions. Original foam was deteriorated so we ended up discarding and replacing with bubble wrap to ensure this beauty arrives safely. I’d highly recommend checking out our REBOXX listings for custom foam inserts to help better protect this locomotive for years to come. Original box & all cardboard hand railing protectors are included. I removed a few for the photos so you could see how nice the paint work is. All Brass locos typically need a little TLC and fine tuning, lubrication, adjustment and break-in to achieve optimal performance.
