Rare Western Coil & Electric Zephyr Cast Aluminum Pullman/Observation Car. I’ve had to change the description for this piece several times. I had no knowledge of these and a few kind ebay members clued me in a bit. I’ve received some conflicting information but it looks like parts of two cars were attached together. There is a seam that can be seen on the sides and roof. I looked at some photos of other ones and I can see based on the size of the # plate on mine that this piece might have originally been an observation car. So the added end that is an inch or so long would have to be from a Pullman as far as I can tell. Why would someone cut two cars to make one smaller car? Or maybe this is something they toyed with in the factory. Definitely strange to me. It was done neatly. There could be other explanations. Please examine all photo’s closely so you know what you are getting. Thanks!!
