HO – LIRR – D52 Extended Smokebox Bachmann NT Conversion Kit An HO model for representing the LIRR D52 class 4-4-0’s, built around 1874. These can also probably represent a variety of other engine types, though these were specifically modelled after the Schenectady Built Engines for the LIRR.This kit is intended to be fit onto the Bachmann New Tool 4-4-0, for which conversion is fairly straightforward.

A set of smaller pilot trucks will also be required, I have used New Tool Bachmann 4-4-0 trucks (These are the smallest I have found at present). HO – B&WRR ‘Brookline’ 4-2-2. While uncommon, delays may occur during periods of high demand or due to unforeseen production issues.
As I understand it, the Tender is typical for orders requested of Baldwin during their first decade or so of operation. Couplers for the rear of the tender can be fashioned of Brass or Steel Wire to couple with freight cars.
