I was able to run this loco on my layout by using the #3 control number. I couldn’t read the coder manufacturer or model. The headlight function didn’t work. There is no sound system. This unit has a slight weathering added. It looks like dust. Sold as shown.
The locomotive has a NCE Dual Mode DCC decoder installed and will run on both DC and DCC. It also has directional LED headlights, lighted numberboards and Magnetic Knuckle couplers. It has just been serviced with a through cleaning and fresh oil sparingly applied.
