You are looking at one of THE classic O gauge locomotives that is ONE of the few iconic steam locomotives that always make you think of Lionel… This is the prototypical 2020 6-8- S2 Steam Turbine that Lionel first issued in 1946. AND… This is the Pellet type smoke unit VERSION made in 1947-48 that repalced the earlier smoke bulb version. CONDITION: C-6. Runs, reverses, smokes, and whistles. Has some paint fading on numbers and lettering, probably from handling. Some scratches and a little bit of surface rust. Somewhere between C6 and low C7. It looks good, but does have some playwear and scratches. Pictures show it all–check them out! SCROLL down into the listing and then be sure to enlarge them while you are there. This Athearn HO scale diesel locomotive shell is a great addition for model train enthusiasts. It features a blue color with the B&O Baltimore & Ohio corporate roadname, and is a replica of the sdp40. This is a Lionel O Gauge Union Pacific Dash-8 40C Diesel Locomotive Lionel #6-18205 engine is in excellent cosmetic condition. Runs and reverses. Lights work. Sound works – but sticks in the on position as you reverse the engine. This is from an estate sale – The trains have been stored in a basement for 20+ years and as such may have some dust/dirt on/in the boxes. I am NOT a train retailer and as such will do no service/maintenance on the train being sold. Sold As IS.
