This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. The powered locomotive is non-functional and being sold As-Is. The powered locomotive is missing the coupler pick-up. The powered locomotive is missing a port-hole window. The powered locomotive shows corossion on the battery compartment. The non-powered locomotive shows yellowed port-hole windows. Both locomotives show flaking nose decals. Both locomotives show very thick scrapes throughout the shell that have cut through much of the original finish. Both locomotives show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. Both locomotives show rust throughout various sections of.

ONE NEGATIVE IS A CRACK IN NOSE ON ONE SHELL. CRACK WAS “REPAIRED” BUT SHOWS. PROBABLY A GROUNDING ISSUE I WOULD THINK. THIS UNIT WAS CLEARLY RECENTLY RAN AS IT WAS WELL LUBRICATED AND CLEAN. HORN DID NOT WORK WHEN TESTED.
Still make a great appearance with good colors and graphics. Ran when I tested it. Has been in storage, should be cleaned and lubed before using much.
THE POWER UNIT LOOKS GOOD, AND THE BATTERY BOX APPEARS TO BE CLEAN. IT RUNS VERY WELL. THE B UNIT HAS SCREEN VENTS AND IT IS CLEAN. IT IS A CLEAN SET OF DIESELS.
