The diesel and all 6 cars in the set are in “factory fresh” condition (i.e. “Mint”, “brand new”, “never been on the tracks or displayed”). All were issued in individual orange & blue Lionel boxes. Those original boxes come with the diesel and cars and are also each in Mint condition. All of the original paper work (diesel) is included.
