Lionel 675 2-6-2 early model w/Baldwin stamped wheels. Whistling tender. I have had this engine for a while and enjoyed bringing it back to life. The boiler cover is a replacement. I cleaned it up servicing it from front to back. The tender has no model # stamped on it but appears to be a6466wx. It does whistle and has been rewired and serviced. For an 80 year old engine, maybe less, it is strong as ever.
With this design, the cylinders could be smaller and the weight of side rods and main rods could be reduced. Built with striking streamlining designed by Raymond Loewy, the T1 engines were large, powerful, and fast!
