Amtrak EMD E8A Diesel Locomotive. Cab # 4316. E8 and E9 locomotives also rode on A-1-A trucks (powered axle-idler axle-powered axle), resulting in an exceptionally smooth ride favored by crews. The E8/9s were utilized in both passenger and freight service.
Tested and runs, but it is moving very slow. The lights are very dim. Missing 1 end detail and a few rails are bent. Knuckle couplers installed. Does not include box. May have paint wear/scratches/scuffs.
