This listing is for an UPGRADED HO Scale Athearn Blue Box Vintage Erie Lackawanna Baldwin S-12 Diesel Switcher This is a limited older model railroad engine that runs well considering it's age. The flywheel design is a tad noisy due to the echo inside the body shell of the engine. It however, has run very consistently for me and it does not show excessive wear. It has been lubricated and tuned up prior to this listing. Unlike new designs it does not have 4 wheel electrical pickup so it may not perform flawlessly on a layout that doesn't have a steady electrical current flow on it's rails. Otherwise, this item shows no lack of performance within it's original design. It has been highly detailed and is lightly weathered. It has a working interior light that was added as this originally had no rear light. Plus the front light was upgraded as the original design blocked the light from being visible outside the body shell. The hand rails have been painted and are very secure. Side window sunshades have been added per spec. There are several add on decals added to the body. See the photos for further look of this item's appearance. Comes with original box, instruction sheet and horn hook replacement couplers. This will ship with a pair of plastic knuckle couplers. Thanks for looking and all sales final.
