DJH OO GAUGE for 2 RAIL OPERATION BOXED This locomotive is not working properly as there is a bind in the gearbox gears. Professionally assembled and painted. The loco is fitted with a Portescap motor with fine gearing. One smoke deflector is loose, but east to reinstall at your end. I have had the chassis away from the locomotive body and angled the motor out enough to make sure that the electric motor works fine. The gears that go down to the final drive are stiff and even when oiled have not freed up enough to run the motor. You may need to replace the gear set. It just needs a little fettling and it will be fine. A great item for your collection. See pictures for details. Thanks for looking.
